Smooth. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I can’t believe I didn’t buy a a chi sooner. It works so much better than my other straighter and doesn’t catch my hair.

Nice straightener but doesn’t have heat settings. Nice straightener but doesn’t have heat settings. I have very thick and corse hair so I need the max 450 degree to get a smooth look. It would probably do great for those with thin hair.

Love this flat. Love this flat iron – wore out my other one like this and got another a cheaper brand but didn’t like as much as this one. Worth the money. Works fast and the on off button is inside where you don’t accidentally turn off which is really nice. Works fast too!

Fake. Just for those wondering, this is a fake CHI, it works, heats up quick, does it’s job, looks like the real thing but the plug is not original and does not contain the safety shut off that the original has. I am disappointed because although this is a good iron, this is not what I wanted.

Love this straightener. This iron is the best. I use it after blow drying my hair to straighten and smooth out any frizzy hairs. I like how fast it heats up and it stays consistently heated through my hair styling process unlike other straighteners I have used in the past. I always forget to shut off my straightener so I am very happy with the auto shut off feature. I highly recommend.

Love it. Bomb straightener. I have really long hair and pretty thick. So it typically takes me long to straighten because I have these waves that are stubborn and my hair flips at the bottom. With this its less than 10-15 minutes to get pin straight. Also makes nice curls!

I have had my Chi Flat Iron for at least 5 years and it still works great. This is my 2nd flat iron because the cord broke after using it for over 5 years. I do wish you could select the temperature instead of it going full heat. It works great to straighten and help reduce frizz.
